Leaping
Again from the contemporary dance shoot a few weeks ago. I’m already looking for a new location to shoot with Soleil and Verity again, they were just so fantastic.
The dance studio had a very dark wall at the back and a fairly dark floor. I knew I couldn’t get a perfectly white background in camera but had intended to push the background to white in post. When I saw the sploches on the wall and the hint of floor I decided I liked them more than a plain white background.
Lighting Info: Two Elinchrom heads in 80cm softboxes at about 45° on the background. One 580EX II high and behind model sitting in a stage spotlight at the top of the frame. All triggered with RF-602 wireless.
